Meet M.E. (Em-me) Ramcke LMT, CEIM & Owner
My interest and dedication to providing massage therapy blossomed from my calling to the world of holistic healing, initially through yoga and teaching yoga. As I explored this path, I experienced firsthand the profound connection between body, mind, and breath, and the sense of balance and well-being it can restore. Inspired by these benefits, I felt called to expand my offerings by incorporating massage therapy—creating space to encourage deeper healing, relaxation and whole-body harmony.
Accredited in the state of Florida with over 800 hours of massage therapy I am also nationally certified. I have found myself specifically drawn to providing well-being to women in a comfortable, safe, and relaxing environment. I began making my personal massage therapy available in 2012 with the opening of Body Balance Massage for Women. While I offer massage therapy for women in all stages of life, I have advanced training in prenatal and postpartum care. I am especially drawn to this specialty for the unique, powerful energy of pregnancy and early motherhood, which calls for deep nurturing, support, and compassionate presence.
In 2015, I relocated my practice from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Dallas, Texas. Shortly after, I had the opportunity to join a group of holistic birthing practitioners at the Dallas Birth Center. A few years later, we came together to build the Urban Family Co-op from the ground up in Dallas—an accomplishment I remain deeply proud of. I truly valued my time there and the meaningful connections I formed within that community.
As life continues to evolve in beautiful ways, I’ve made the thoughtful decision to relocate my practice to Plano. This transition aligns with an exciting new chapter in my personal life with my partner and our dog Oliver. :) I look forward to forming meaningful connections in this area and offering my massage therapy as a way to
support relaxation, healing, and well-being.
I continued my training with the International Association of Infant Massage and became a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. I’m passionate about supporting parents as they build a deeper connection with their little one through the power of touch. Much like skin-to-skin contact, infant massage is a nurturing, hands-on practice that offers meaningful health and emotional benefits for both babies and their parents.
My natural progression from yoga student to yoga teacher to massage therapist is one that I have fully embraced as part of my life’s purpose. It is both a passion and an honor to provide and pass on the benefits of holistic healing and wellness.
